We would share what we were doing at the EMC-meeting in Finland 1996.

We were four bikers with three bikes who went early on Friday morning to catch the ferry from Värtahabour in Stockholm. It was Mats "Faster is to slow", Andreas "Ringen" Ring, Johanna "Jofors" Forselius and me (Micke). After six hours sleep in first-class cabin on the SeaWind´s biggest luxury-cruiser with sauna in the cabin and with a substantial meal, we were ready to drive 300 kilometres on Finnish roads with many bends. At 08.00 o´clock em (or was it Swedish time, newer understud that really) we were locking up small roads from the city of Åbo. The old "Tampere-road" with 100 kilometres very nice bends was finished, in spite of darkness and fog. After some kilometres more we arrived at the meeting-place at 12.00 o´clock em. Sleepy members from Ichtys MCK, among others was Pauli Puhälä, welcomed us.
The meeting was close to a lake and on the Pentecostal course-estate south of Keuruu. Substantial Finnish meals were served in big hangar by cheerful Finnish women. Around 200 bikers from 8 nations were present on the meeting so we had to remember our school English.
It was very popular to buy/change clubbadges with each other. MCK Freedom entertained with "I like bikes, but Jesus is my life".

Silly-games event "Giant-handfootball was won by Sweden after four hard matches against the Europian nationes. The small British got a tought fight with Pauli laying/keeping two of them from the match. The final was played against Finnish team 2. The next event was tantem-skiing on grass, Sweden never got any position there.

The president-meeting gave us a chance to discuss next years meeting and exchange experiance between the clubs.

Mc-sightseeing tour was made in Keuruu´s nice suroundings.
In the evening there was a consert by a famous Finnish Christian Pop-group and, after that we had bbq-night.

Early Sunday morning Mats drive home via Åbo-Stockholm ferry. Work in Norway was waiting for him. After some cooling bath in the sunshine we also travel to Sweden by the night ferry from Åbo.
We came home exhausted but with a lot of experience richer. It was very rewarding to meet other Christian bikers from Europe, to share their Christian faith and their bike interest

The EMC-meeting 1997 will take place in Sans close to Bern in Switzerland in 970808-10. A good occasion to combine a Europe vacation with this weekend.
